Come Practice Your Spanish
Fiesta Fridays: This is a 2 hour forum for you to converse with others in Spanish. Due to a downturn in the economy and thus student enrollment, Spanish for Life will suspend this activity until further notice.
The usual protocall is:
Sign up in advance. A suggested contribution is $5 for 2 1/2 hours of great fun. But, if the wallet is tight you can bring a dish to share or... just come for the fun and practice! You don't have to know how to play these games already. You will get a lesson before we begin. Do you love to dance and want to exercise too? Zumba is a latin dance craze from Colombia that is sweeping the nation. Go to www.zumba.com to find a studio near your zip code that offers a class. This is a great way to practice your Spanish and enjoy the culture while working out. Most studios charge $7-$10 depending on the instructor.
