Advanced Beginner- Bilingual in a Year Evenings: Wednesdays, 6:30pm-8:30pm Class Dates: Jan 7- Dec 16, 2009 Prices: Tuition $125.00/ month, Books $75.00 This class is for adults who would like to continue to learn Spanish from the foundation they have already started. Advanced Beginners have a variety of experiences as well, however they have a strong base knowledge of the language. Skills already familiar with: Numbers 0-10,000, alphabet, telling time, dates, regular and irregular present tense verbs, present progressive tense, reflexive verbs, stem changers, comprehension of small articles, colors, adjective/ noun agreement, directional words, basic question words/ classroom phrases. Complimentary Tutoring: As a student who is committed to one year of language learning, Spanish for Life offers you 12 complimentary tutoring sessions. These are extremely helpful for extra practice for all students, and very important for students who have missed a class during the week. A list of these dates is given the first day of class. They are on a Saturday, once a month for 1.5 hours. They are able to converse effectively in 5-8 tenses: present, preterit, imperfect, future, present progressive, present and past perfect, condition. Students write for a variety of purposes, ask and answer questions from mini-novels, and do short oral presentations.
